I hate that mothers-in-law and father-in-law force babies to be named after them. The same thing, my mother-in-law, from the beginning of her life, was forcing us to name my child after her backward name: Azganush, but how can I do such a thing? A child was born, they named him Arevik, one of my favorite names.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But until recently, my mother-in-law called the child Azganush, or Anush for short. I kept telling him, in a normal way, but he didn’t understand. Then I felt that neighbors, friends, and acquaintances also told me that we named the child Azganush.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And finally, my cup of patience was filled. I said, wrap that retarded name of yours around my child’s neck, his name is Arevika and that’s it. I said, if you had a nice name, we would name it, but don’t try to call my child Azganush.
