When do you fall in love with a person? When this woman or man makes us feel good, listens to us,
understands us, makes us smile, gives us affection and everything we need. And in this idyllic scenario of
feelings that blossom and are destined to last, how important is the age difference between two lovers?
There are those who are of the opinion that too many years of distance between the two partners is not
good for the relationship, while there are those who claim the exact opposite.<\/p>\n\n\n

There are many examples around the world that confirm that age is just biographical information and
does not affect relationships, and the story we are about to tell you is one of them. In this case, the
years between husband and wife are over 60, but that doesn’t seem to be a problem for them. Miracle
Pogue, of Starkville, Mississippi, and Charles Pogue are a happily married couple who made it known to
the general public on the web for a very important characteristic of their relationship: their very large
age difference. The young woman is 24 years old, while her husband is 85. A generational gap that has
not been and is not an obstacle to their love.<\/p>\n\n\n

«We met when I worked in a laundry,» says the woman. «Charles was a client, we saw each other often
and started talking, then one day he came in and left me a card with his number on it and from there
our relationship became more and more intense», she continues. «I found out his age by chance, I was
sure he was between 60 and 70, then he told me he was born in 1937.»Tamika Phillips, the woman’s
mother, and Joe Brown, her grandfather, immediately gloated about Miracle’s relationship with the
man; the one who had and expressed the most doubts about this is the young woman’s father, Kareem
Phillips. The latter was not at all convinced of his daughter’s choice to marry a man 61 years her senior,
but he had to change his mind later.<\/p>\n\n\n

«He didn’t want to hear about Charles, but if he hadn’t walked me down the aisle he would have lost
me,» the 24-year-old said. «Then he spoke to us, he got to know him and immediately liked him».
Marrying her was the best thing in my life and I will never regret what I did. I have always dreamed of a
beautiful family, and we want two children». The choice of the two lovers caused a sensation and caused
a lot of criticism. Many cannot explain how a young woman can feel such strong love for a man who is
older than her own grandfather.However, this doesn’t seem to affect Miracle and her husband, it might
