Children are all beautiful and we know it, although in truth some might argue that from birth they are not really at their best. Either way, for a parent, their little one is and always will be wonderful, as it should be. In this case, the point is not about «beauty», but rather about calling the protagonist of this story «little»\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The midwives were even amazed when he was born and once the baby was placed on the scale, it nearly tipped over!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ruby Eden, 24, is the proud mother who gave birth to her «little» Teddie Eden. The boy was born at over 5kg and his head was described as big as a melon by midwives who struggled to find a cap his size!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The day before the child was born, a nurse had simply informed Ruby that the baby would be a little bigger than her already born little sister, but the woman did not expect such a «size».<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It took a real emergency intervention to deliver the child: a caesarean section. Even the father was amazed at the sight of the child and couldn’t help but comment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

«What can we say, he’s clearly a big guy,» exclaimed the father.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The baby was not born perfectly healthy: although his vital functions were impeccable, he had polyhydramnios, that is to say an excessive amount of amniotic fluid. After a few days in the hospital, he was able to reunite with his family and meet the other members of his family. «I would have liked to film their reactions with a camera: they were all so perplexed as to why Teddie was such a big baby; besides, when I was pregnant, my belly was always smaller than when I was expecting his sister,» the mother said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Indeed, the newborn was already wearing 3-month-old baby clothes from his first days of life!
