Jmenoval se Jan Kr\u00e1l, b\u00fdval\u00fd myslivec, kter\u00e9ho vesni\u010dan\u00e9 znali jako tich\u00e9ho samot\u00e1\u0159e. V jeho o\u010d\u00edch byl klid, ale i st\u00edn n\u011b\u010deho, co si nesl v srdci u\u017e mnoho let.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Bylo to p\u0159esn\u011b p\u0159ed dvaceti lety, v jedn\u00e9 z nejkrut\u011bj\u0161\u00edch zim, kdy Jan na\u0161el na kraji lesa zran\u011bn\u00e9 zv\u00ed\u0159e. Byla to vl\u010dice, vy\u010derpan\u00e1, s poran\u011bnou tlapou, krev j\u00ed barvila sn\u00edh pod t\u011blem. M\u011bla v o\u010d\u00edch strach, ale tak\u00e9 vzdor. Jan ji krmil, \u010distil r\u00e1nu a mluvil na ni klidn\u00fdm hlasem. Vl\u010dice ho nikdy nenapadla. Jen ho pozorovala. Po dvou t\u00fddnech, kdy u\u017e mohla znovu chodit, beze slova zmizela v lese. Jan ji v\u00edckr\u00e1t nevid\u011bl. Ale \u010dasto, kdy\u017e st\u00e1l na prahu sv\u00e9 chaty, m\u011bl pocit, \u017ee ho n\u011bkdo z d\u00e1lky sleduje.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Roky plynuly. Jan zest\u00e1rl, jeho t\u011blo u\u017e nezvl\u00e1dalo dlouh\u00e9 pochody, ale st\u00e1le chodil do lesa \u2014 ne lovit, ale pozorovat. Jednoho mlhav\u00e9ho podzimu se vydal hloub\u011bji ne\u017e obvykle. Uklouzl na mokr\u00e9m kameni a p\u0159i p\u00e1du si zlomil nohu. Mobiln\u00ed sign\u00e1l byl v t\u011bch m\u00edstech nulov\u00fd. Hodiny plynuly, den se m\u011bnil v noc a Jan za\u010dal ztr\u00e1cet v\u011bdom\u00ed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>V tu chv\u00edli usly\u0161el tich\u00e9 kroky.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Z mlhy se vyno\u0159ila silueta. Vl\u010dice. U\u017e ne mlad\u00e1, ale st\u00e1le hrd\u00e1 a siln\u00e1. D\u00edvala se na n\u011bj. P\u0159istoupila bl\u00ed\u017e a jemn\u011b se dotkla jeho ramene \u010denichem. Pak se oto\u010dila, zvedla hlavu a vyla. Dlouze, t\u00e1hle, do ticha noci.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Netrvalo ani p\u016fl hodiny a z lesa se vyno\u0159ili dva turist\u00e9, kte\u0159\u00ed zbloudili a zaslechli v\u00fdt\u00ed. Na\u0161li Jana a p\u0159ivolali pomoc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Kdy\u017e ho nakl\u00e1dali do sanitky, zeptal se jich: \u201eVid\u011bli jste ji? Tu vl\u010dici?\u201c<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Jen se nech\u00e1pav\u011b pod\u00edvali jeden na druh\u00e9ho. \u201eByli jsme tu sami.\u201c<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Jan se usm\u00e1l a zav\u0159el o\u010di.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p>Nikdy u\u017e ji nevid\u011bl. Ale v\u011bd\u011bl, \u017ee dluh byl splacen. Ne v pen\u011bz\u00edch, ne ve slovech \u2014 ale v tich\u00e9m \u010dinu mezi \u010dlov\u011bkem a divokost\u00ed lesa.
