Pas \u00e9chancr\u00e9, pas transparent. Juste\u2026 <strong>un maillot<\/strong>, sur le corps d\u2019une femme de 58 ans.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Quand ma fille de 23 ans m\u2019a vue arriver dans la cuisine, son regard a suffi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>\u00ab Maman\u2026 s\u00e9rieusement ? Tu vas aller \u00e0 la plage comme \u00e7a ? \u00bb<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>Je me suis fig\u00e9e.<br>Elle a ajout\u00e9, sans m\u00eame lever les yeux de son t\u00e9l\u00e9phone :<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>\u00ab Tu es trop vieille pour ce genre de trucs. \u00bb<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>Je n\u2019ai rien r\u00e9pondu. Pas sur le moment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mais j\u2019ai pris une d\u00e9cision.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p>L\u2019apr\u00e8s-midi m\u00eame, nous sommes all\u00e9es \u00e0 la plage ensemble. Moi, dans ce fameux maillot rouge. Elle, dans son bikini dernier cri.<br>Les regards ? Oui, j\u2019en ai senti quelques-uns. Mais pas de moqueries. Plut\u00f4t\u2026 de la surprise. Parfois m\u00eame de la bienveillance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Et puis, sans pr\u00e9venir, je me suis lev\u00e9e, suis all\u00e9e vers l\u2019eau, <strong>et j\u2019ai plong\u00e9<\/strong>. Comme avant. Comme quand elle \u00e9tait petite et que je la portais sur mon dos pour traverser les vagues.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Je suis rest\u00e9e dans l\u2019eau longtemps.<br>Quand je suis revenue, elle m\u2019attendait, silencieuse.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Puis elle m\u2019a dit :<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>\u00ab Tu sais\u2026 tu fais ce que tu veux. Et en fait, t\u2019\u00e9tais belle. Vraiment. \u00bb<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>Je n\u2019ai pas r\u00e9pondu. Mais j\u2019ai souri.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p>Depuis ce jour, elle ne m\u2019a plus jamais parl\u00e9 d\u2019\u00e2ge comme d\u2019une limite.<br>Parce que ce jour-l\u00e0, <strong>je ne lui ai pas seulement appris une le\u00e7on sur le corps, ou le style<\/strong>.<br>Je lui ai montr\u00e9 que <strong>vieillir, ce n\u2019est pas dispara\u00eetre \u2014 c\u2019est s\u2019affirmer<\/strong>.<br>Et que le vrai courage, parfois, c\u2019est juste de <strong>remettre un maillot, et marcher jusqu\u2019\u00e0 la mer comme si personne
