I have been working in the hospital as a gynecologist for many years and I don’t see anything in my
practice, but what happened yesterday was just a shame. A woman brought her bride-to-be to me to
make sure if the bride-to-be was a girl or not. Somehow I held back my anger, but I said I would look into
it.

I told him to wait outside until I investigate, but do you know what he said, that he will go inside and be
present at the process so that he doesn’t cheat anyone or we don’t agree on something inside?

I probably didn’t need to say how angry and upset I was. The poor girl hung her head and stood there,
neither speaking nor saying anything. He did what his mother-in-law told him.

I am surprised that there are still such families and such a way of thinking. This is a disgrace.
