Do you like costume parties? If so, every year you certainly look forward to Halloween or Carnival, as
both are occasions to indulge in all kinds of fancy dress, in the company of friends, family and
colleagues. On Halloween, the themed costume should be as spooky as possible, and young and old
alike get the thrill of walking the streets in costume. This woman also tried to have fun with her 7-year-
old niece, wearing scary makeup…too bad she couldn’t take it off!
Elizabeth Rose got TikTok users
reacting with her video in which she shows up after her family’s Halloween festivities, unable to remove
the makeup from her face. The woman says in the video that she celebrated Halloween with her 7-year-
old niece and got a temporary face tattoo to be more believable. Like any self-respecting temporary
tattoo, it only takes a little soap and water to remove it or, at best, a little alcohol. However, that was
not the case for Elizabeth, who found herself in front of the mirror trying to figure out the best way to
remove her tattoo. On TikTok, she shows herself rubbing cotton on her face: the tattoo does not come
off. To make matters worse, Elizabeth has meetings at work the next day!
There is a touch of desperation in her video, but she is also amused by the completely surreal situation.
Of course, user advice is welcome.
After many attempts, the 46-year-old managed to remove the tattoo by rubbing it vigorously. His
meetings the next day were successful, but the skin on his face was visibly reddened. It’s better than
showing up with a skull tattoo, of course. After this negative experience, her followers suggested various
methods to wipe off makeup, including duct tape, baby oil, hand sanitizer, vodka and more. The tape
seems to work perfectly. In another video, Elizabeth wants to try this method on a new tattoo, even
more extreme than the one she did for Halloween. Indeed, just dab the adhesive part of the tape on
your skin to see the color come off! If she had known right away, Elizabeth wouldn’t have wasted so
much time despairing or damaging her skin!
