Twins celebrate their 80th birthday, but their 103-year-old mother is the real guest of honor

Reaching 80 is already a great achievement, especially if you are in excellent health, but being able to
reach 80 together with your sister is something even more special. Twins had the chance to blow out 80
candles together at a birthday party with the whole family. David Mosher and his twin sister, Winnie
Mosher Merrill, live in Brunswick, Maine, USA and consider themselves very lucky to still be able to
share so much together and to be able to have happy family reunions.

The two siblings never separated, not even as adults. Often in the United States many people change
cities or even states due to work demands or even just to study at university, but David and Winnie have
always stayed in touch by voluntarily choosing to live only a few kilometers from each other, without
ever leaving their home town.

Besides this special and lasting bond, David and Winnie have one more big chance: they can blow out 80
candles in the presence of their extraordinary 103-year-old mother. Helen Mosher, in fact, was only 23
when she gave birth to her twins.

Naturally, the centenary mother was the guest of honor at the party: people were literally amazed by
her excellent health. The guests and those present at the party were able to admire the twins with their
mother, but also the 76 other descendants including grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A very
tight-knit and united family, and also characterized by its love of baseball. Mother Helen has always
loved this sport, to the point of transmitting this passion to her daughter Winnie, who ended up
marrying a former manager of the famous Yankees team, Stump Merrill.

In short, it’s not every day that we have the opportunity to celebrate such an important event
surrounded by such special people: best wishes to this wonderful family!
